There is no single reason for writing a blog, because it very much depends on your motivation. However, blogs can have a number of advantages, both to help strengthen the presence of your business online, or simply to share ideas and debate with people of the same opinion.
Jeremy Wright discusses some of the reasons that people in his blog post Why Blog, Zat Ze Qwestion East ":
"Blogging is for everybody and everyone. I can not think of anyone who can not benefit from knowing more people, never forgetting new thinking and improve their thoughts with little or no effort.
For some blogs will be like a diary: a historical record of their thoughts at any given time.
For others, it will make the speed of networks. You will know a little better for the people in a way, and then build relationships. "
So if you are using blogs that you might have a photo album, record your memories, or as a good way to connect with other people who share similar interests or business objectives like you, there are plenty reason to give him a shot.

* Recognition - the chance to develop a following and stand out as an area of expert
* Employment opportunities - the possibility of being discovered by a potential employer, or having a body of work to highlight during your next interview
* Turnover - the very real possibility of making money online from your writing, either directly or indirectly through advertising through spin-off publications, conferences, Board and all sorts of other revenue generating capacity
For business owners the need is even greater. On the one hand, search engines Web sites that promote is updated regularly, and blogs are an excellent way to make sure your content is still fresh, and thus regularly inspected by Google and company. This gives you a much better chance of appearing at the top of Google's search results.
Another major reason is provided by Corporateblogging.info:
"In a forum where your main objective is not to sell, you have a more personal relationship between you and your customers. Blogs are a fast way to reach customers, discussions, practical tips and ideas or receive feedback. "
So if you want to achieve and to communicate with other fans, give your customers the opportunity to interact with you, or enhance your online presence, blogging is an excellent way to do so.
